NOTICE – The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame will be closed to the public from Wednesday, Jan. 19 to Friday, Jan. 21 as we install our new Winter Olympic exhibit. That new exhibit will open on Saturday, Jan. 22 at noon. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Ice & Fire Festival is a five-day celebration of winter art, culture and recreational experiences. A constellation of activities will take place throughout the city over the course of the five days with the Festival culminating in Victoria Park on Family Day (February 17). · The grand opening of a new exhibit, Skating….Saskatchewan Style, will take place on Saturday, February 15. We will be offering special hours of operation from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Free Admission will be offered all day.
· On Monday, February 17 (Family Day) we will again be offering special hours of operation from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Free Admission will be offered all day. The SSHF will also be sponsoring Harvey MacFarlane and the Sanguine Clydes Sleigh Rides between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The sleigh rides begin in the Plaza area of Victoria Park.

The Prize: Two (2) tickets to football’s biggest game of the year to be hosted in Regina on November 24, 2013, plus a limited edition photograph of George Reed, printed on canvas and autographed. Just added to the prize package is an autographed George Reed jersey!
The Price: 1 ticket for $20 or 3 tickets for $50. Tickets can be obtained from the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame (in person or by phone @ 306-780-9232) or at the MacKenzie Art Gallery Shop (in person).
The Draw: Friday, October 25, 2013 during the Gala Art Auction. The winner does not need to be present at the event to win. The winner will be contacted by October 28, 2013. And, we would be delighted to deliver the prize package should the winner reside out of town!

We are excited to announce that the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame is partnering with the MacKenzie Art Gallery to host a Gala Art Auction, which will take place Friday, October 25 at 6:30 pm in the T.C. Douglas Building, Regina. Not sure about the “Gala Art” concept? Don’t be worried. This event is designed to be a whole lot of fun and dressing up is definitely encouraged!
This event, A Mid Autumn Night’s Dream, will take a step back in time to ancient Greece where the artistic expression of sculptors, poets, and artisans was celebrated alongside the athletic events of the Olympic Games.
* The Live Auction will feature a variety of works generously donated by a wide range of talented Canadian artists. Get your game on and bid up your fellow art & sport enthusiasts to add to your own personal art collection!
* The Silent Auction will have an impressive array of packages including artwork and experience packages created for the ultimate art & sport enthusiasts.
