Notice: Annual and Special Meeting will be held on May 27th

On behalf of Robb Elchuk, President of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, this e-mail serves as an official notice of the Annual and Special Meeting of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame which will be held at the following date and time:

Date: Thursday, May 27, 2021

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Virtually via Microsoft Teams

The agenda will include Annual Reports, Bylaw revisions, presentation of Financial Statements, the appointment of the auditor for 2021/22, and reports on the election of Board Directors.

The meeting package, plus the 2020 Annual Report, 2020/21 Financial Statements, Bylaw revisions, and all other pertinent materials for the Annual and Special Meeting have been posted on this website and are available for review before the meeting.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and limits on public gathering mandated by the Province of Saskatchewan, the Annual and Special Meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. Please fill out this registration form to receive your access credentials for the meeting which will be distributed no later than noon on Thursday, May 27.

All members of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in good standing are welcome to virtually attend and vote during the Annual and Special Meeting.

Annual General Meeting Notice

Rankin Jaworski, President of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, invites the membership to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame which will be held at the following date and time:

Date: Thursday, May 30, 2019

Time: 7-8 p.m.

Location: Boardroom, Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame – 2205 Victoria Avenue, Regina

The agenda will include Annual Reports, presentation of Financial Statements, appointment of the auditor for 2019/20 and reports on the election of Board Directors.

The 2018/19 Financial Statements will be available for review on our website (www.sasksportshalloffame.com) by Thursday, May 16 and the 2018 Annual Report following the AGM.

All members of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in good standing are welcome to attend and vote during the AGM and learn more about the exciting year ahead for the SSHF.

SSHF – Annual Report – 2016

Each year, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame strives to preserve and promote the history of sport in Saskatchewan, and 2016 was no exception. Our 50th Anniversary was an incredibly exciting and successful year for the SSHF.

We started this year of celebration with an enthusiasm that kept gaining momentum with each new success.  To finish the year by being named Tourism Saskatchewan’s Business of the Year Award (Under 20 Full-time Employees) was amazing recognition. We could never have imagined a more perfect end to our 50th Anniversary year.

Special thank you to all members of the Hall of Fame, your support over the past year has been overwhelming. We look forward to another 50 years!

Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame – Annual Report – 2015

Each year, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame strives to preserve and promote the history of sport in Saskatchewan, and 2015 was no exception. The Government of Canada named 2015 “The Year of Sport in Canada” and encouraged all Canadians to celebrate the role that sport plays in their identity.

Our 2015 Annual Report will highlight some key redevelopment, awareness and self help strategies. It will also recap the addition of new staff members, partnerships, exhibits and events that have helped position the SSHF for a very exciting and successful 50th year in 2016.

Special thank you to all members of the Hall of Fame, your support over the past year has been overwhelming. We look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary with you.
