In 1945, Daisy Junor was scouted by the All American Girls Professional Baseball League to play with the South Bend Blue Sox team in Indiana. Between 1946 and 1949, Daisy was an all-star fielder and power hitter for the team.
Returning to Regina, Daisy excelled in numerous sports. She was a member of the provincial bowling team that represented Saskatchewan in the Western Canada Five Pin Bowling Championships three times.
Junor also won five golf club championships, two city championships and a provincial senior ladies golf title. Daisy was also active in the administrative side of golf participating in the Canadian Ladies Golf Association.
