Join the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame & the Civic Museum of Regina as our Women In Sport panel on Thursday, October 24 at 7 p.m. in Centre Court at the Cornwall Centre.
The panel features three Hall of Fame inductees – Linda Burnham (1989 and 2008 – curling), Lisa Franks (2018 – athletics/basketball) and Colleen Sostorics (2019 – hockey) – and will be moderated by Sijia Liu from Global Television who is herself a former U-Sports athlete.
The panel discussion will be wide-ranging with a focus on how sport has shaped their lives, how we can encourage emerging female athletes, and the state of women’s sports on a local and professional level.
This hour-long, free event celebrates Women’s History Month and Hockey Week in Regina.
