The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame added seven new remarkable inductees during its annual Induction Dinner & Ceremony on September 26 at the Conexus Arts Centre.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support this wonderful class of inductees and the Hall of Fame as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.
This year’s class features four athletes, Cameron Baerg, Chris Getzlaf, Otto Huber, Brianne Theisen-Eaton; builders Dr. Marlys Misfeldt, and Ross Wilson, as well as the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Saskatoon Valkyries football teams.
The Hall of Fame’s Dedication to Sport: Our 2026 Inductees exhibit also opened Saturday as part of the Hall of Fame’s Induction weekend celebrations.
The Hall of Fame’s Induction Dinner & Ceremony would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. A huge thank you to Saskatchewan Lotteries, Access Communications, Barker’s Trophies Awards & Gifts, Casino Regina, Conexus Arts Centre, FireCube Video Services, Football Saskatchewan, Keith Hershmiller Photography, Robertson Stromberg LLP, Signature PrintIt, and Sun Life Lightheart Financial Solutions. The Hall of Fame also wanted to thank all of the businesses that supported the induction dinner’s auction by donating auction items. The proceeds from the auction and 50/50 raffle will support the Hall of Fame’s programming in the coming year.
The 2026 Induction Dinner & Ceremony will be broadcast across the province on Access Communications. The first broadcast will air on Thursday, October 15 at 3 p.m.
