Saskatchewan has a rich history of sport excellence throughout the province and Grit explores the diversity of individual athletes, para-athletes, builders, and teams inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.

This featured exhibit celebrates the determination, character and grit that are hallmarks of many of the great athletes from this province.

In artifacts, photos and text, Grit chronicles how inductees overcame financial limitations, physical injuries, and life-altering accidents. In addition, the exhibit explores how societal limitations due to racism and sexism had to be faced by our inductees for them to achieve their goals in sport and life.

Grit features artifacts from inductees and teams in football, athletics, rowing, equestrian, wheelchair racing, and wheelchair rugby.

Inductees featured include George Reed, Ted Jaleta, Diane Jones Konihowski, Lisa Franks, Clayton Gerein, and Allan Semeniuk, plus teams like the 1938 Regina Dales Rugby Club, and the 1938 Regina Rowing Club and many more.

Grit is on display now at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.
