The Ice & Fire Festival is a five-day celebration of winter art, culture and recreational experiences. A constellation of activities will take place throughout the city over the course of the five days with the Festival culminating in Victoria Park on Family Day (February 17). Full Festival details will be released in early February.
Here’s how the SSHF will be participating in the Festival.
- The grand opening of a new exhibit, Skating….Saskatchewan Style, will take place on Saturday, February 15. We will be offering special hours of operation from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Free Admission will be offered all day.
- On Monday, February 17 (Family Day) we will again be offering special hours of operation from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Free Admission will be offered all day. The SSHF will also be sponsoring Harvey MacFarlane and the Sanguine Clydes Sleigh Rides between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The sleigh rides begin in the Plaza area of Victoria Park.
