For more than 50 years the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame has endeavoured to provide a self-sustaining, dynamic attraction designed to preserve, interpret, recognize, and honour the diverse sport history of the province. While much has been achieved to date, annual operating funds only provide limited support towards achieving our long-term strategic objectives and fulfilling our overarching vision.
Planned Giving offers the potential to:
Name the SSHF as a beneficiary in your will. This is the most common type of future gift.
There is no obligation to tell the SSHF about a future bequest gift. We are grateful for your future gift and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss our Legacy Support Focus areas with you. Should you share your plans with us, we can work together to ensure your gift is aligned to the focus area of choice in the future.
Name the SSHF, in whole or in part, as the beneficiary. A gift of retirement funds presents an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the SSHF, while enjoying beneficial tax savings.
Make a cash gift to the SSHF through a lump sum, monthly, or annual contribution. Donations totaling $120 per year or more that are locked in for five years are eligible for the Sport Legacy Fund incentive program.
Life insurance allows you to leave a significant legacy gift to the SSHF at a low annual cost. Proceeds are paid directly to the SSHF so your gift is not reduced due to taxes or probate fees.
