There is a new exhibit coming to the main gallery at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame. Please note the events below that will see a new look in our space, come early February. Exhibit Closes on Friday, January 30 – Out of the Vault and Out of the Ordinary
This is your last opportunity to view the exhibit, Out of the Vault and Out of the Ordinary. Showcasing a number of the more unique components from our permanent collection, including the mascot collection and the travelling wrestling show, the items contained in this exhibit will go back into the vault come Friday, January 30 at 4:30 p.m.
Gallery Closures
The exhibit galleries of the SSHF will be closed from Monday, February 2 through Friday, February 6, 2015, in order that we may do some gallery retrofits and install our next exhibit.
Administrative offices are open regular hours during this time.
Regular operating hours resume for the exhibit galleries on Monday, February 9, 2015, with some very exciting additions!
Coming Soon…..For Those About to Rock: Women’s Curling in Saskatchewan
Opening on Monday, February 9, For Those About to Rock is a celebration of women’s curling in Saskatchewan over the years. In addition to highlighting some of our vast curling collection, it provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the many winning teams who call this province home.
Special thanks to the Turner Curling Museum, Weyburn SK, for the loan of artifacts in support of this exhibit.
